Reclamation

A genuinely persistent, simulated world: one that does not tell you who you must become.

Target launch: Q4 2028
The world

A world that lives without you

Reclamation is built around a simulation, not a script. The people of the world pursue their own lives: they work, trade, form families, chase ambitions and remember what happened to them. Settlements prosper or struggle. Histories are written as they happen.

And it keeps evolving whether you are logged in or not.

  • Living inhabitants. NPCs with independent lives, needs and goals, not quest dispensers waiting for you to arrive.
  • Functioning economies. Goods are gathered, made, carried and traded. Scarcity and surplus are real.
  • Civilizations with histories. Places rise and fall, and forgotten secrets wait to be discovered.
  • Meaningful choices. Actions carry consequences, and risk gives reward its meaning.
  • Any life you choose. Fight, craft, explore, perform, trade or study. There is no correct build.
“Anything is possible, in this life and in the life you choose to live in Reclamation.”
The road ahead

Development path

We are building from the foundation up: first the world's underlying simulation, then the experience of playing in it together. The phases below are our intended order of travel; timing between them will shift as we learn.

Plans may change. Only the launch window below is a public target.

  1. In progress

    Forging the world

The core simulation: its people, economies, places and the consequences that tie them together.

  2. Next

    A playable adventure

Turning the simulation into a recognizable role-playing experience.

  3. Then

    A shared world

Connected multiplayer, art and the client experience.

  4. Later

    Alpha & beta testing

Opening the gates to testers, listening, and refining.

  5. Q4 2028

    Launch

Our primary target window for release.
